Lesson Task – Design Different Looks

Copy the exact content from a homepage of a website of your choice. Now redesign this homepage in three different ways. Each design should evoke a different emotional response from viewers. You can choose what you would like these emotional responses to be.

I chose to redesign google.com

This is what Google homepage looks like:

My first redesign:

I changed the colour for the page to a black-tone colour, to give the serachbox and the logo more attention.

My second redesign:

Here I tried using a more classic colour and a classic font, to give the page a calming feel.

My third redesign:

I changed the background colour and fonts to give the page a rustic and hipster style.
